Beautiful, and extra large, vintage Murano hand blown black / brown and light green ribbons Italian art glass sculptural handkerchief / fazzoletto vase. Documented to the Fratelli Toso Company, and in the style of the Venini company. The vase is made with large Zanfirico ribbon pieces in a striking alternating pattern. Rare color combination. It has a matte outside finish to the black / dark brown ribbons, while remaining shiny inside. Up close they look almost painted on, which is very unusual. Would make a great display piece on any table, credenza or pedestal. Could be used as a flower vase, fruit bowl or showcase it as a sculpture. Mid-century era. Measures: 12" long x 11 1/2" wide x 9" tall.
