I purchased this unique and stunning jewelry box in Florence over 25 years ago from a master artisan who crafts only high-end, high quality leather jewelry boxes. The rarity of the design, intricacy of the detailing and vintage nature of this spectacular jewelry box makes it a true treasure.
This impressive leather Italian jewelry box is a unique work of art. It is hand-crafted with the finest leather/materials and beautifully and intricately designed by a master Italian artisan. The leather is a rich, deep burled burgundy hue that adds to the lush patina that is so reminiscent of Italian royalty. The exquisite hand tooling is expertly hand-crafted and beautifully detailed with a gold, flowing design around the borders. Inside the 5 drawers are a pale, soft vicuna color lining. The compartments provide ample space to nest your precious and fine jewelry within its plush interior. A gorgeous, adjustable mirror perches atop the double-tier base. Antique pewter hardware with gold accent hand-tooling accents. This was a made-to-order item - there is no other that I have ever seen. Measures 20W/12.25D/20H. Condition: Pristine. Comparable items of this quality and design are sold in the thousands.
