The dark red graphics are so cool, historic America to the car and the Howard Johnson's Restaurant with all kinds of symbolism. The divided plate is marked Caribe China, Made Expressly for Howard Johnson's Restaurants, Furnished by W.C. Ayres Co., Inc. Phila., PA.
2 of the plates are in fabulous condition with very minor signs of use. 1 plate however, has a spider crack. See pic.

The plate measures approximately 9 3/8" in diameter and is relatively heavy, even for restaurant ware.
