Gorgeous Set of Four Heinreich & Co with hand-painted British Landscape Plates by Pickard Artists, Challinor and Marker. The three plates painted by Edward S. Challinor depict the River Thames, Elterwater, and Trinity Church in Stratford-on-Avon. The fourth plate in the set has a landscape of the Head of Buttermere by Curtis Marker. Plates have beautiful green and gilt detailed rim. Based on the Pickard maker’s mark, the plates were made between 1925-1930.
Collection was attained from a Connecticut Estate. less
