Antique Beautiful Heavy Large Cast Architectural Bronze Panels, A Set of Four Reclaimed From Andrew Carnegie NYC Home. These are true Gilded Age gems.
These large cast architectural panels are truly one-of-a-kind wall hanging ornaments made of solid bronze, originally a part of Andrew Carnegie's NYC Home built in 1898.
The bronze panels were acquired in 2001 when the Copper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum remodeled some of the interiors of the home. They were bought by a Santa Barbara collector in 2001 and are now being offered for sale as a set of four.
Absolutely stunning solid bronze panels very well cast decorated with stylized geometric designs with a lot of details of circles, flowers, and squares. The finish does have the wonderful verdigris patina finish that only comes with age.
The set of four late 19th-century antique bronze panel screens will make an exceptional decorative wall hanging that can be used in many ways separately and or all together mounted to a wall.
Each panel measures: 21 1/2 inches width, 73 1/2 inches Height 1/2 inch Depth
The Total measurement of 4 panels width is 86 inches
