Has original metal key that fully works to securely lock the desk and upper glass case as shown in the photos! Fully orignal conditon in antique white finish, with glass, gold trim and baroque style metal pulls. Sturdy and highly functional, it provides a ton of display, work and storage space in a small attractive footprint! It is all one piece of furniture (does not come apart) with three sections in the front for three different uses. The upper section has keyed glass doors with a diamond gold design and open to a well sized bookcase and display area. The middle keyed desk has a front that drops to provide a generous sized work surface that is perfect for lap top users today! The desk area also has two small drawers and several cubbies for office items. The bottom section has four large full width dresser drawers (with dovetail corners) that are ideal for clothes or other storage. All drawers, pulls and keyed openings are fully functional. No makers mark. Circa 1960 - 70s The piece is in original and very good condition. Dimensions: 34 w x 72 h x 17 d inches. When the desk top is down the working area measures 27.5 inches deep. less
