Description: My style in painting has been changing over time. I am trying to be a little freer in the subject … more My style in painting has been changing over time. I am trying to be a little freer in the subject matter I choose and especially in the look of my paintings. I loved working on this painting; it happened very easily and was a joy to do. I wanted to paint in a more relaxed, abstract style with just suggestions of people and animals, just enough to tell a story, to share a message and to convey a feeling. The colors are very simple but the way they overlap each other is expressive of how our feelings and thoughts often do the same. It is unframed and could be displayed that way, but a simple unobtrusive frame would be best with this kind of painting, I think.

This painting is about people who love animals and can hear their language and feel their spirits. Animals are unable to speak as we do, but they definitely communicate and share their feelings and thoughts. Animals are so special. I am so drawn to them and love being with them. They carry with them the feeling and memories of Heaven and the beautiful garden that we came from. Their gentle spirits have so much to share with us. When we are listening, we can learn and feel so much more.....beauty, intelligence, sensitivity and love. less
