Lebeau wood low table by Patrick Jouin. Manufactured by Cassina in Italy. In 2017, Patrick Jouin and Cassina partnered to produce the Lebeau Wood table, an updated solid wood version of the innovative sculptural piece introduced 14 years earlier. That piece, with its striking personality, beautifully epitomized the painstaking production process involved in the curvature of the solid wood as well as the superlative artisan skills and state-of-the-art machinery in use at the Meda joinery. This set of three low tables that expands the Lebeau family is imbued with the same care and commitment, making them the sure focal point of any room. They feature the unmistakable solid wood slat base with top in glass or marble, a material that adds luster and elegance to a timeless piece. A set of three showpiece low tables – designed by Patrick Jouin and crafted working side-by-side with the Meda artisans – is the result of a painstaking process of curving solid wood. The collection of low tables expands the Lebeau Wood table family, whose design it echoes, based on a very sophisticated system of solid ash or canaletto walnut wood slats. The solid wood base supports a top in glass or marble, producing a series of iconic design low tables in various sizes, with a bold, sculptural personality. Base: Made from curved wooden slats. Top: In smoked glass, extra clear glas or in a selection of precious marbles.
