Sofa designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand in 1934. Relaunched by Cassina in 2014. Manufactured by Cassina in Italy. Contemporary and comfortable lines for this sofa that was designed by Le Corbusier for his Paris residence, and which can still be seen there today. This piece has inspired a number of re-issues by Cassina, all in the utmost respect of the creator’s original intent. Cassina undertook its first revisitation of the original in 1974, in just the one size with a chrome finish. The sofa was later made available in a number of finishes, and in a large size option. The comfortable and elegant frame is set off by the feather-filled cushions that form the back-rest and the seat. These rest on a highly distinctive metal frame available in seven colours from the Cassina collection. The current edition, supplied as a two- or three-seater, also comes upholstered in leather or fabric.
