It originally was an advertisement that … more This is a 1941 Mid-Century French advertisement for jewelry by the iconic Boucheron designers. It originally was an advertisement that appeared in a French haute couture magazine of the time. It is NOT a recent reproduction print. It is a signed by the illustrator, Jacques Demachy, in lower left. The print showcases a bracelet, brooch, and earring grouping with intricate nuances of translucent metalwork under the Boucheron name. This was a new technique for jewelry making. The jewelry is brilliant and exquisite. Please note that the gold tones on both the jewelry and base are done in gold metallic inks which are even more notable in real time. Please also note the white gloves and the netted hat design. This is a very beautiful image that will work with all home décor styles. The image is clean and in excellent condition.
