Shows wonderful age and patina and fog someone who cherishes the antiquity of the piece. Some veneer chips, finish imperfections and evidence of old repairs from it’s long life. Has a lead pipe weight in the base which functioned as a counterbalance with pulley for lifting or lowering the mirror. That function no longer works however the weight adds stability to the stand which is already quite solid and sturdy. less
