Lovely vintage 4-panel folding Japanese Style silk screen depicting a joyous scene with two doves and chrysanthemums under a tree and a flying small bird. Gouache and watercolor on silk over boards. Silk border. Lacquered black wood frame with engraved copper corners, showing age patina. Paper and two metal hangers on back. Two metal brackets to be attached to the back are included. Hong Kong, circa 1960s. Excellent condition - minor age wear and touch ups on the frame, strong hinges, sturdy.
