The Chicago Art Inst. Art school Dept. is considered by many as the among the most prestigious Art school in the world.
The teachers were among many of the leading often Hungary etc teachers whims art commands exceptional prices.
Those lucky enough to study under these mid Century masters were very privelaged.
As in this case Carol Crain was among the few taught in Chicago , she never sold much art as she has married well thus donating $250,000 to the Institute.
Later she moved where her estate popped up in a storage and the Storage War people got her estate.
They dispersed the entire art collection at various markets in LA grabbed up by many of the top dealers whom speculated she would be an artist of significant merit later when presented to the world.
