Large Antique Oak Paddington Station Mirror from GWR

A superb large oak framed gwr mirror, reputed to have come from paddington station.
the mirror dates to the latter … more A superb large oak framed gwr mirror, reputed to have come from paddington station.
the mirror dates to the latter half of the 19th century and sits in a heavy oak frame which is fitted with brackets bearing the gwr stamp. The mirror itself is original and is around 6mm thick and very heavy.
there is a gwr stamp to the backboards and another on the edge of the frame at the top.

in generally very good condition. The mirror has a couple of minor fox marks and there are some small dents to the gold edging where the mirror glass sits. less
