This is a vintage Shibori dyed textile pillow from the early 20th century. I was lucky enough to come across this fabulous piece of vintage cloth, dyed in the Shibori style. Shibori is a Japanese manual resist dyeing technique, which produces patterns on the fabric, dating back to the 18th century. This is a cotton back with a 20 oz. heavy soft white linen, and backed with our soft white 15oz Belgian linen. Zipper closure, all seams are overlocked, and sewn with a 1/2" flange edge.
We have two available with different patterns and the vintage cloth has seams that were originally sewn together on the front side. Price is per pillow.
Material: Cotton, Linen, Down, Feathers
