This authentic Salterini patio set has been with the original owner for 60 years. All wrought iron pieces are solid- no breaks or repairs needed. Paint is chipping and there is rust, as with most vintage wrought iron furniture. This is a beautiful example of classic Salterini with paw feet and detailed floral designs. The glass toppers are chipping on the edges. There is no Salterini mark that I can see, but I have seen it on other pieces (headboards) in this exact pattern. I have also included a photo of a print ad from 1961 for Fallani & Cohn table linens. These chairs are featured in the ad, with the caption in small print: “China by Wedgwood, Furniture by Salterini.”
