The Alcove collection by Vitra was conceived of in collaboration with renowned designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec to create what's referred to as "micro-architectural elements". The seating born of this project creates an autonomous environment with tall back and side panels that are intended to envelope and buffer from immediate surroundings.
With minimal good looks, cozy seating and sound buffering qualities, the collections' "room within a room" concept has been highly successful in both home and office settings.
