The top depicts a scene of children and women near a temple interacting and socializing while the front depicts a line of figures standing apart from one another with a large tree above their heads. The sides and back feature floral designs with birds and nature elements combined. There is subtle ornate carvings from top to bottom with the traditional Chinese patterns repeating on the 4 carved legs. It is constructed of black lacquer with camphor wood lining the inside with a brass ornate clasp and hinges. less
