Instead of botehs, the creamy ivory field shows a jagged leaf lattice enclosing small flowers, in row by row varieties which never repeat and may have one, two or three pairs of striped supporting leaves. The field pattern continues into the spandrel panels. The pointed niche arch is patterned by oblique color dashes. Finely woven for a Caucasian rug with a crisp natural dye palette. A very attractive antique scatter for the wall or floor, in good condition. less
