It has a wrought iron X-Style base that looks like it might gold up, but it does not. The base supports an oval bamboo top that has a metal apron with curves and leaves. The top is split bamboo with a woven cross stitch feature that makes it very sturdy. There are also supporting wrought iron rods underneath. Great style and functionality.
