The decorative centerpiece, easily used as a … more Impressive Art Deco footed bowl in black and gold Murano glass, circa 1920s. The decorative centerpiece, easily used as a large catchall or compote for fruit, features snake handles. Venetian hand blown glass of ribbed campana form enriched by side applications of serpentine shaped glass and gold aventurine. The clear glass has real 24k gold inclusions, giving it added dimension. The art glass is made with the Aventurina technique featuring gold flakes of metal incorporated into the glass. A superb example of vintage Italian Mid-Century Modern glass with exceptional workmanship and elegant tones. Signed on the bottom by the master glass maker. less
