This listing is for an incredible example of Edo Period Japanese art.
This original woodblock print dates to the 18th century and is the work of Kitagawa Utamaro (1753-1806).
Utamaro is regarded as one of the most notable designers of ukiyo-e paintings and woodblock prints.
His pieces have been displayed in legendary galleries and museums across the globe, including the Metropolitan in New York.
This signed print depicts a mother and child pouring tea. The detailing is quite marvelous.
Utamaro's signature can be seen on the left.
This piece comes in a wooden frame. The frame measures 22.5 x 30.5 inches and the print itself measures 12 x 8.25 inches
