A cachepot with a handle, decorated with Vermont potter Eric Moore's signature Xs drawn into the layers of wild clay slip and black pigment with a celadon glaze. The final palette is one of greens, rusty reds, and black.
The vessel itself is 4 3/4" tall with the total height with handle coming to 9 1/2".
Eric Moore grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2019 with a Bachelors in Fine arts for Ceramics. Upon graduation, he moved to Vermont to work as a potter. He works in and manages the studio of Miranda Thomas Pottery in Bridgewater, Vermont. less
