It was manufactured by the CF Snyder Co, Dayton. The stamped wood slides show a patent by the company of May 24, 1876. "The Reliable Extension Table Slide" It has been nicely refinished and I believe it originally had metal castoers on the feet. It is in excellent shape and the wood graining is gorgeous. There is one 11" wide extension leaf (it may have had more at one time) and creates an oval shaped dining table. It can be used as a console style, or side table, if desired. The table has an ogee edge detail, with 5 turned and fluted legs. It is amazingly stable for its 150 year manufacture date.

Open dimensions are: 52.5" d x 42" w x 29" high- with additional 11" extension for a 63.5" oval length less
