There is so much variety, color and pattern in collecting majolica oyster plates. This one is an example from Chantilly, France and could be dated anywhere from the 1930’s - 1960’s.
There are 6 clamshell wells for the oysters and a basket weave center well for sauce. The green basket weave pattern is trimmed in a brown rope. The plate is marked on the back.
The plate stand and wicker charger are not included. less
