Presenting a charming antique set of Lamson & Goodnow flatware from the mid-19th century. This set comprises 6 three-tine forks and 6 matching knives, all expertly crafted with steel tines and blades. The handles are made from bone and adorned with intricate pewter inlays. A distinctive solid pewter taper tip design adds rustic charm to these Civil War-era pieces. The blades of the knives bear the engraved mark "LAMSON & GOODNOW MFG CO, PATENTED MARCH 6, 1860."
Despite their age, this set remains in remarkably good condition with minimal rust stains. Slight overall scratches and stains can be noted. A few pieces exhibit cracks in the bone handles. Please refer to all photos carefully before making a purchase.
