This set shows signs of wear consistent with age and use. These chairs are well-loved and appear to have been re-upholstered at some time. There are few marks and blemishes at the upholstery on a couple chairs. The seat cushions still have a bit of life left in them. Overall, these could use reupholstering. The wood frame is a mix of cane, solids and veneers. Mostly in great condition; there are a few chair rail dings at one captains chair and on another side chair. This original patina and wear does not take away from overall aesthetic. Additional minor wear marks or light scratches on surface may be visible. No major chips in woof frames, all structurally sound. See photos and close ups for reference. All of our pieces are used and/or vintage pieces that have wear consistent with age. Each are rare, sometimes one-of-a kind that are found and hand-picked. We do our best to photograph and describe all characteristics. Includes Two Captains Chairs. This set is a classic set of American style Mid-Century. With the cane-back and dark walnut finish, these could go well with your vintage modern space. Please see all condition notes and photos for reference.
Cane is the best part! All in great condition with one minor piercing. Mix of solids and veneers. No makers mark found, but truly in the style of American of Martinsville and lived their life with the matching dining table.
