Set of three 1960's colorful handmade Christmas ornaments by Mexican folk artist, De Sela, depicting whimsical animals including a horse, a bull and an elephant. De Sela's work is usually fabricated from papier mache, similar to Sergio Bustamante or Gemma Taccogna, and though the ornaments have a similar look, they are actually a styrofoam base with painted surfaces and yarn accents. The combination of colors, including hot pink, green, blue, yellow, red, pale pink and aqua blue, are a fabulous way to add an artsy touch to your holiday decor. Each ornament is signed and outfitted with a ring for hanging. Faux tree shown for display purposes only.
