Made of solid cherry wood with two sliding doors along the front and one deep dovetailed drawer at the end, each with brass ring pulls. The top is made from a 2" thick plank with wide pegged border and black linear detail. Beautiful wood grain with warm waxed patina. Sturdy legs joined by a long chestnut stretcher. This was used as a work table and the large scale makes it perfect for use as a kitchen island, center table or sideboard. The inside bottom was replaced. Circa 1850-1860.
