The painting was … Read more Offering a vintage needlepoint depicting Norman Rockwell's "Children Dancing at a Party" (also known as "Pardon Me"). The painting was used for the cover of the January 26, 1918 issue of the Saturday Evening Post and shows a humorous situation in which a boy has accidentally stepped on a girl's foot while dancing. The girl is holding her foot and glares at the boy with a frustrated expression, while the boy blushes with embarrassment. This piece is expertly stitched, signed, and dated 1977.
