This is part of Chairish’s Costume Jewelry assortment.
A versatile opera chain necklace from the 1920s. I believe this to be black lacquer over ceramic beads. It’s shiny and glossy and linked with gold wire. Can be worn double or tied as shown. Or just long with a flapper dress. It’s all one over the head piece with no clasp. If it did open up it would be 48” long as it hand “24.
