Made in the former … more The graceful silhouette and comfortable shape of this vintage wooden armchair give it an enduring appeal. Made in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1960s, the design reflects the elegance and versatility of Czech Modernist furniture, as imagined by notable creator Jindrich Halabala. The curve of the bentwood armrest rises and descends to form the clean line of the front leg; a flared back leg offers a playful counterbalance. The seat has been re-upholstered in a light cloud-grey linen; the cool tone of the fabric forms a sophisticated color palette alongside the warm hazel patina of the polished bentwood. less
