Fabulous vintage earthenware table lamp by Marian Zawadsky forTilgmans Keramik, Sweden. Hand-painted in fantastic color combination depicting an ancient soldier wearing yellow vest and pink helmet holding a spear surrounded by Doric columns. Sgraffito vertical lines in charcoal gray background, wave detail to foot and tapered neck. Mounted on pretty pierced metal base with scrolling leaves. Maker's mark to underside. In excellent working condition without issues.
Lamp (without shade): 14" height, base diameter 6”, neck opening 1.25" diameter
Shade: 12" top diameter, 10" height, 14" bottom diameter less
