All of these are pictured. There is a general patina to the entire piece commensurate with its age. There are some parts of the piece that are loose (one of the cubby drawers) and slightly bowed, due to age and possible exposure to intense heat in less than ideal storage settings. Structurally, it should be serviced by an antique furniture specialist to re-glue, tighten, and reinforce as necessary. Free local pickup is offered, and the mirror can be removed for moving,however, the piece is heavy and delicate, and will require much attention and care. It is believed to … more This unique gem of a piece was acquired from a family estate in Van Nuys, CA.
It is believed to have origins in the UK, and bears a makers mark from the plywood company Venesta, which fabricated case goods in the UK and Estonia in the 1930's. The design style is reminiscent of the Jacobean, Edwardian and traditional Victorian styles, particularly with the barley twist columns gracefully holding the elegant beveled glass framed mirror.

It features a stunning and nearly flawless mirror which tilts on its axis and is easily removed. It is structurally sound with a beautiful decorative frame around it, and just very minor surface scratches.
There are two large drawers on the bottom, two small drawers atop them, and two cubby hole drawers on either side of the top. It has a lot of clever storage! It also features all of the original hardware, which is in pristine condition.

It is gorgeous! But not without flaw. Minor but noticeable scars are pictured above and described below in CONDITION DETAILS

This is a rare find, and with some attention given it, it has enormous potential. less
