The wall lights designed by Klaus Hempel for Kaiser Leuchten embody the aesthetic of the Space Age movement of the 1960s. Made from white metal, these designs combine functionality and elegance, reflecting the innovation and style of the era. After studying at the Berlin School of Fine Arts, Hempel quickly made his mark in the design world, first collaborating with the famous furniture company Hülsta. In 1960 he established his own studio in Munich, collaborating with prestigious companies such as BMW, Siemens and Miele. Hempel's works are distinguished by their creative power and futuristic vision, incorporating elements of modern design while remaining rooted in German design heritage.
