Purchased by us … more These are a set of 2 original French antique Art Nouveau design studies that date to c1900. Purchased by us in Lyon, France. They feature decorative designs and applications in the style of Louis XV. These are very classic images that are delicate and intricate renderings. They deserve an up close placement in your home where they can be studied and most appreciated. Please note that the gold tones in each of the lithographs are in a gold metallic ink (difficult to see in my scans...Quite special in real life.) Gold ink was used in print lithographs in the early 20th century and discontinued in later years, making these very special. Each is in pristine condition. The chromolithographs are in horizontal format, measuring 8.75 x 5.75 inches in size. You are purchasing a set of 2 images.
