Inside there is a white glass globe that hangs in the center and covers the bulb. The two pieces together look wonderful! The metal is nice and thick, and it is painted in an off-white with touches of bronzy-gold. The globe has a lovely top detail and comes with the matching canopy. The pendant takes one standard bulb and works great. It is currently meant for hardwire, but you can add a plug to swag it if you prefer that look.
