Loop table 240 ash by sebastian scherer dimensions: d240 x w90 x h74 cm materials: ash, aluminium, wood weight: 69.2 kg also available: colours:solid wood (matt lacquered or oiled): black and white stained ash / natural oak / american walnut. Frame (matt): snow white / light sand / space blue / graphite grey /dark bronze / ink black. Raw aluminium (not powder coated). Black plastic glides included. The neo/craft label was founded by the berlin-based designer sebastian scherer after he won the lexus design award 2014 for his iris lamp (2013). The debut collection, which consisted of ten products, was first presented at the imm cologne in january 2015 in what wallpaper magazine described as “one of the most impressive debuts in 2015.” exhibitions at trade fairs in milan and london followed this same year. Since then, sebastian scherer has worked as a designer and creative director in equal measure. The collection consists of his designs, but these can also undergo further development in the future through the input of other designers. The central element in his developmental process is the continual search for new creative possibilities with classical materials such as aluminum, steel, glass and wood.
