Dimensions: d 40 x w 40 x h 114 cm. Materials: stainless steel. The eye, which we find here at the apex of the ciclope (meaning cyclops), is inspired by the disembodied eye in le monde poetique ii by rené magritte which twists between pointed parallelepipeds and pulled back curtains, and seems to have fallen from a height, as suggested in the backrest of the chair by parallel undulating lines. In the painting these stand out against a serene pale blue sky, interrupted by gashes that let us see a further surface, finishing in a succession of planes which seem to allude to different levels of consciousness. less
