Materials: stainless steel. from the series of prints entitled Revolving Doors, Legend derives from an experiment conducted by Man Ray at Daniel Gallery in New York between 1916 and 1917, in which the collages were hinged on a rotating base, the movements of which created optical effects. The Nativa reprises these seemingly random forms, to create an object which in turn lends itself to the play of light and to the changeability of the moods of the beholder, continuously transforming itself. less
