The beautiful butterfly bowl is ideal for display or as a serving item. Both work of art and versatile serving piece, this elegant bowl is statement in the home and impressive when brought to shared dinners.
It's both practical and artistic: the metal alloy construction makes the bowl both freezer and oven safe, so it keeps your food at the right temperature for a long time, and the design provides grace to any table with the reflective surface and elegant lines.
Nambe describes this piece as follows, "Among Nambé's earliest designs, the Butterfly Bowl celebrates both form and function. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye, the elongated sides gracefully reach upward like wings to create its simple, elegant curves, and its temperature retaining properties make it ideal for serving warm or cold dishes." Designed by Richard K Thomas in the late 1960s, it is made of Nambe's signature alloy blend of eight metals. It does not chip or peel and is resistant to tarnish. Made in New Mexico.
This bowl is in excellent condition with some minor surface blemishes consistent with careful use. It was kept polished with Nambe Polish. Please see and zoom in on all photos. Style # 569.
