Yellow vase designed by Guido Andloviz for the ceramics house, Società Ceramica Italiana, Lavenia where he was the Art Director in the 1930s. Guido Andlovitz (1900-1971) was a renowned
Italian ceramicist whose work is exhibited all over Italy in shows and museums. This absolutely beautiful piece has a wonderful ochre yellow glaze that is iridescent in places. The original Lavenia stamp is seen on the base as photographed. Both vases have rust spots and some wear to the glaze (where they have been handled over the years), but no chips or cracks. These vases were purchased in the 1980s from a San Francisco antique dealer and have been mostly in storage for at least a decade. less
