Grand neoclassical greco-roman style klismos chair lacquer painted by artist Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022). The sculptural chair features a large round tablet back decorated with acanthus leaves and finished in an aged gilt. The nearly flat seat is supported by dramatic saber legs with carved rosettes on top. Intentionally aged and distressed by artist. Made as a prop for his studio to display with artwork.
