A very beautiful antique hearth cooking utensil
Large skimmer or strainer / sifter spoon for open fire cooking
All hand made from a copper sheet with wrought iron handle
The end of the handle is shaped as a hearth
The bowl is pierced with a star, reminiscent of the Texas Lone Star
Great Americana
Circa 19th century, found in rural Texas
Measurements: Approx. 16.25" long x 4.5" diameter of the bowl
Weighs about 8 oz.
