A beautiful early pewter dish
Serving bowl in simple yet very stylish shape
Incised ring for decoration at the inner border
There is a mark at the bottom, hardly discernable under magnifying glass only, "Mervin Wilson / New Medford Conn. / Pewter" and the number 888 stamped at the bottom
Circa late 19th century, American, found in New England.

Measurements: Approx. 9.75" diameter x 3" deep
Weighs about 1 lb. 12 oz.
Condition: Very Good overall. Please see photos. Great even patina. Some wear and a few shallow dimples, commensurate with age and use. All original.
