This piece is vibrantly hand-painted with stylized birds and flowers in blues, red, green, brown and yellows, and accented with a cracked glaze effect. The vase was hand thrown on the potters wheel (ribbing seen/felt on interior). The exterior is glazed in a combination satin/matte and glossy finish with the interior of the vase a glossy tan. The vase is in excellent vintage condition with minimal wear and no defect (no chips, cracks, repairs found). The vase is of unknown origin, but would display well with other bright colored pottery pieces from Italy and Mexico.
