This fabulous long vintage Chanel sautoir necklace has red gripoix glass beads, faux pearls interspersed along the gold metal link chain. The red glass beads are 2 different sizes. It can wrap 2 or 3 times over on your neck or you can stagger it. It is marked Made in France Chanel 1984. it comes in a Chanel box and belonged to a big Chanel collector who may have worn this necklace once. It is 35" long or high when closed and opened up 68" L. The size of the big red glass fluted bead balls are 1/2 wide x 1/2 inch deep. The smaller red glass balls 0.25" W. The faux pearls are a touch bigger than the small red glass beads. This is a beauty! From the 80's.
