This table comes directly from designer Claude Berraldacci. They were designed in the 90s. The brand was called "La Pierre Haute Couture". The stone is the purest travertine available. It comes from the Tivoli quarry near Rome, from which the Vatican buildings, the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain are extracted. Travertine from this region is very pure, with a very light color. The stone is worked with great skill to produce a "softened travertine": a natural, matte appearance that's soft to the touch. This work enhances the mineral texture and unique color.
