Colors are intense, red, gold, and shades … more The mounted tapestry shows a maiden in a classic gown with rich surroundings. Colors are intense, red, gold, and shades of blue. Richly detailed in yarns toned to show the shine of silks and gold accessories, a special emphasis was taken to show the texture and braids of her hair. The reverse shows the yarns tied off to create the passages. A few scattered separations in the pattern as shown in photo details. The antique weaving is 24. 5" by 33" on an antique stretcher. see detailed photos of the surface and the reverse. The condition is very good, colors are strong and true, small areas of discoloration as seen in the detailed photos. less
