NOTE: The wavy looking lines (upper section across trees/sky) in the main photograph, those are not in the painting. I cannot seem to get a good photo of some of my artwork for some reason. Please keep in mind those lines are not visible in my painting.
This is painted from an old photograph of mine that I took at Noyo Harbor in Fort Bragg, CA. This cool red barrel was there and I've been wanting to paint this scene for years. It was a beautiful foggy morning. I wanted to keep it kind of loose and abstract.
